Notice: A fuel surcharge will be implemented effective from 20 April 2026 and is subject to change depending on current fuel market prices.

  • Any amendments ticket booked before 20/04/2026, fuel surcharge will be applied.
  • Any amendments ticket booked after 20/4/2026, non refund on fuel surcharge.
Unpaid bookings will be automatically cancelled 3 days before departure without prior notice. Please refer to LAE’s Terms & Conditions for details. Required documents (Vehicle Registration Card and IC front/back) must be submitted via Fax / Email / WhatsApp at least 3 days before departure for customs clearance. Failure to do so may result in cancellation with no refund.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • Schedule time is subject to change according to water tide.
  • Vehicles which already had registered with customs for the trip cannot be cancelled. If canceled, the fine will be charged to owner by the Royal Malaysian Customs.
  • Please fax or email Vehicle Detail Form / ORIGINAL VEHICLE REGISTRATION CARD (GERAN KENDERAAN) to Langkawi Auto Express Sdn. Bhd. AT LEAST three (3) days before actual departure date. (Langkawi: 604 969 2889, Kuala Perlis: 604 985 1401)
  • The check in time is 2 hour before the departure time.
  • Vessel will sail on time.
  • For luxury car, vehicle owner need to prepare the bank guarantee or customs bond by themselves.
  • Bring together a copy of photocopy Identification Card and Vehicle's Registration Card (Both Side).
  • Vehicle with "KV" plate or "Duty Free" status, ORIGINAL vehicle's registration card is required.
  • Vehicles with KV-plated or registered in Langkawi which has registered the vehicle to travel, cannot change the vehicle with another vehicle.
  • Vehicle owner is advised to provide the vehicle detail as per vehicle registration card in order to speed up the check in process during the online booking.
  • Any special assistance is required, kindly contact us at 604 966 1600 / 604 969 2888 (Langkawi counter) and 604 985 1584 (Kuala Perlis counter) or by email at [email protected] / [email protected]  at least 48 hours in advance before the departure date and time.
